I would like to make members aware of 2 chinchilla brothers being sold illegally on preloved Preloved | x2 brother chinchillas 2yrs old cage & assesories etc for sale in West Yorkshire, UKThese boys were rehomed from me in 2008 and as part of the adoption agreement adoptees sign to agree should they be unable to care for them for whatever reason in the future they agree not to sell or pass on any chins but to return them to the rescue . I have contacted the person and advised them of their legal obligations so hopefully they will do the correct thing by the animals and return them without further action

Aww, god it really is annoying when people sell their pets because they don't want them any more but illegally is an outrage!

its always a shame on an animal when they cant be kept where they are but sometimes it does happen but just too make a profit from it is just wrong
hope they are returned safely and have a loveing home for keeps

thats disgusting!
I used to help Birdline, who's adoption forms, where very much like yours. Some one, who had birdline birds, sold theirs, unortunately, there was nothing Birdline could do, as the documents weren't legal. I really hope you get this sorted xx

The advert has been removed and I am in discussion with the person with the chins as to whether they still have them or not. Depending on the outcome whether this matter will be taken any further or not
