If it is okay to clean out goos (I assume you mean the degu's cage, right?) when you not(?) the goos are pregnant? When you know they are pregnant? Why would pregnancy affect the cleaning of the cage? You should feel free to handle the mum-to-be but be very gentle with her and put her somewhere comfortable while you are cleaning her cage out...she may even move of her own accord if you give her the chance. There is no reason why you shouldn't clean out the cage if the degu is pregnant, there's probably many arguments for why you SHOULD clean it out more often when they are pregnant, but none for not cleaning it out.

Moomintroll, if you are the pregnant one, it is safe to clean out their cage. They have none of the problems that are present with feline fecal matter, and so there is no danger to you or the babe growing within. You'll be fine, and congratulations!

Ah...a few properly placed commas might have made all the difference to the readability of that sentence :-)
