At the RSPCA Coventry and District branch we have several groups of Degu's up for adoption. Polly, Rose & SalsaPolly, Rose and Salsa are a group of 3 female degu's. They were transfered to the centre from another animal rescue organisation after having no luck in finding a new home there. We really hope they have some luck with us and find a forever home. These girls are very fascinating to watch and spend most of their time huddled up together at the very top level of their cage. They too can sometimes be heard communicating with each other as degu's are very vocal animals. Tic, Tak & ToeMeet our 3 sweet female degus. They were brought into the centre due to their previous owner being allergic to them. Tic, Tac and Toe are all just over 1 years old now so are still young. They love eachother dearly and they can sometimes been found cuddling up to eachother asleep in their hammock, or taking it in turns to run on their wheel which they love!! We also have 2 single female (Ariel and Jasmine) degu's looking for new homes too. They were fighting badly and they had to be split due to injuries. We are desperately seeking for people with degu's who have the time to introduce one of these girls to a group. We would love to see them both be re-homed happily so they can socialise with their own kind. If you would like more information please visit our website www.rspca-coventry.org.uk/animalslist.asp?type=SmallOr call the centre on 02476 336616 and ask to speak to a member of the Small Animal Team.

Our girls are all still looking for new homes and have unfortunately had no interest in them at all since being at the centre with us. We have also had new arrivals lately..4 baby degu's! 2 of which look like they are grey or "blue" as i have just searched! They are still too young to be re-homed at the minute but if you are interested in any of our adult degu's please call the centre on 024 76 336616.
Thank you.

Hi Suzieplum, sorry to hear that you lost one of your degus. We did have a group of 3 young male degus afew weeks back but they have been adopted. The only 2 groups we have now are all females. Vickimac, if you are interested in any of our groups of females please do call the centre on 02476 336616. Unfortunately we do not have the time to come on this forum regular so calling the centre and talking to a member of staff directly would be a lot easier. Hope to hear from you soon

hiya, I'm trying to get a female or two from a forum member in Leicester, but if I have no luck, then I'll be in touch with you within the next few days. Our remaining female degu who is 4 is very lonely since her sister died last week.

Hi I am in the process of setting up a rodent rescue at home and will look for homes for all animals i take in. I can take in some of yours if you like to give them the home environment and physical contact that they like.

Hi Sweetielu, this is an old thread, so I doubt these degus are still available. It's probably best to email or phone your local RSPCA place, or other local rescue direct. Please feel free to make a new 'degus wanted' thread telling us your approximate location (We have loads of great info on the forum about cages and feeding and so on too, if you are new to degus )

On the RSPCA Coventry website there are 2 females up for adoption. I'm having an eye on them as well, if I can't find rescue degus a bit more near Birmingham.
