Hi, Me and my wife have 4 goos, two brown and two blue. About 2 months ago there was a fight and one of the browns got hurt so we had to separate them, the two browns love each other and the two blues love each other but one of the blues really dislikes one of the browns ( We nearly adopted them out but at the last minute couldn't bring ourselves to do it and decided to try and reintroduce them. Well sadly it just isn't working out so it is with a heavy heart we once again have to put them up for adoption.. Their names are Mushroom and Munch and they are quite a handful but lovely and so funny. We also have a cage from Pets at Home which you can have along with some toys. All free to a good home. We are based in Surrey and happy to deliver them and would like to meet you first anyway. No one with Dogs or Cats please as they are scared of them ( Please help. Many Thanks

Hi, I'd love to give your chaps a new home,we have no other pets,we lost our dog in Feb,the only thing is i have to go into hospital on the 9 may so will be out of action for 2 wks after that.I have kept pets all my life and have a good relationship with our vet[who was amazing through my dogs illness].I've never looked after degus but have spent the past month researching them, their behaviours, diet, housing needs etc. I live in Twickenham so i hope it isn't too far away.Anyway have a think and let me know. thankyou

hi there, sorry to hear that they just don't get along. Hate it when my degus have little fights, even if its just over treats!! I currently own two degus, Sam-Wise & Frodo!! Best friendship names i could think of I live in plymouth, however iam coming to Essex to see my mum tomorrow. I wouldn't mind meeting wherever is best for you. What sex are Mushroom & Munch? Have you been able to train them yet? Thanks for reading (: Esther.x

I would take them if I knew you lived in Canada. But you probably live in Austrailia. Would love to take them otherwise!

esther,
Sorry only just seen your reply !! Munch and Mushroom are both girls, not sure what you mean by trained ? If you mean are they tame then yes but also very scatty and jumpy... if you rustle their treat bag they will be only too happy to run out and climb all over you but without it they are very nervy.. One of them is becoming more inquisitive, we do get them out and handle them but they don't like it at the moment and so i feel guilty.. they are ok if you take them away from their cage but if they are near and can see it they just want to get back..
NEVER bitten us or anything they are very well natured but just need someone who will handle them a lot i think to tame them... We work long hours so find it hard to spend the time with them we probably should.. Our other two brown girls are just so dopey they love coming out so we handle them more (feel guilty about that)..
This is why we decided to try and adopt out the blues.. firstly as one of the browns was on the receiving end of the fight so didn't seem right to send them off but also because i think Blue Goos are generally more scatty and so need someone who can spend heaps of time with them.
We are in no rush and happy to hang onto them until the right person comes but having 2 cages is a pain and also I really want them to be rehomed and played with as they are both lovely, very pretty and funny to watch..

Natty,
Can i ask though, from some of your previous posts it appears you breed goos.... Do you want my little blues as pets or just so you can breed them ? I don't really want to sell them into prostitution ;o)
Kovu07,
I live in Esher which is just outside S/W london... about 20 mins from Wimbledon, next to Kingston..
Cheers Rich

I am delighted to announce our two little girls have found a loving new home with bunnyluv, popped around today to meet her and both her and her family are lovely so we had no qualms about leaving Mushroom and Munch with her and all her other animals. Hopefully they will soon be living with two new little sisters and we are delighted they found such a wonderful new home. thanks to everyone involved..
