our three new goos are settling in nicely but 1 insists on nibbling our hands and fingers when giving them treats or food, most soft but occasionally harder, this is mostly probably inquisitive test biting but I would like to stop it sooner rather than later beacuse it's getting steadily harder but I'm not to sure how to go about it, Any Suggestions??? Thanks Lee & Charlotte xx Merry Christmas To All and A Happy New Year xx

If they nibble too hard make a short, loud squeak. It is what they do to each other during grooming to go "that hurts, ease up a little!"
Nibbling can be to see what stuff is or a sign of affection, as in they're grooming you like you were one of their own.

Maybe put some bitter spray on your fingers, then each time put less and less on as it stinks haha!

I too have found a short, sharp squeak does the trick.
And Emz I think bun bun is a perfect name as it is

And Emz I think bun bun is a perfect name as it is Hehe yeah it'll probably end up sticking. Some other good suggestions were Terry (he has quite an orange back, suggested by deguconvert) and also Smokey by a few people. I always take forever to name animals. It took me a long time to name my fluff bombs (degus) I just called them "degu #1 and degu #2" until I decided on names lol.

I have tried squeaking at them, this was a tip I picked up from my sister with her rats but it doesn't seem to have much of an effect on them???
