I have that water bottle, I think you can put it inside the cage as it has the springy wire to pull it to the bars, then also comes with the silver thing to take the bottles weight and stop it slipping down But I've also seen stands for these bottles, may be easy to make yourself?

Can't think of which for the minute, but there is a glass bottle brand that has a metal holder for inside the cage......

DOUBLE AHHH!!! I totally did not get that, nor did I see that coming. ROFL!! Of course the new splash guards would have made an impact . . . this one was unexpected. Probably for you, too! Good problem solving! I hope you are able to find a holder soon! Annnnnnd then I see that there are other posts still to be read, and potential options are supplied!! LOL!
I should remember to look at the page numbers FIRST. Hopefully something in the above suggestions will be just the thing you need!

Thank you for all the suggestions! I've lost the metal hook thing that holds the bottom of the bottle sadly so I'll have to order another one.

zenaida, I am but I don't have any wire either so I'd have to order some and if I have to order something I'd rather order a premade holder. Thanks for the idea tho!!

Just realised I've never shown an image of S&Ws modded liberta explorer cage. Top level/wheels everywhere/Sherlock's favourite perch Cardboard tube graveyard The most exciting level - the one they get out of the cage from The extra shelf is made of plywood with 5x5 cm (2"x2") kiln dried edging. The pop hole is 15x15cm (6"x6") and the bottom edge is protected by plaster beading. It's laid flat on top of 3 strips of 2.5x5cm (1"x2") strips of kiln dried pine that are bolted to the side of the cage. Ladders between levels are either bendy logs you buy with hook attachments drilled into the end or pine doweling cut into 12cm lengths, drilled through and held together by gardeners steel wire (and hooks attached to one end). Wheels on the top shelf are 5" deep 14" diameter wheels using tins bought from tic tac wheels (you can of course buy your own instead - easier but more expensive).
