My little men!: Spyro: He is apparently an ex-show chin who came to me last November when his previous owner wanted him rehomed due to losing her other two. He was a bit bad tempered to begin with but was moved into his massive cage and became lovely! He is a massive chin, generally a fairly chilled out, 4 years old, not particularly naughty when out on his own except for a habit of eating paperwork, unfortunately important stuff, not bills. Vespa: "Rescued" by myself from P@H adoption section. He was apparently 4 months old, I dont believe it, he was tiny. He has holes in his ears from where they dumped him in a cage with an older chin and they fought until they were separated. He was constantly hiding, very nervous, covered in scabs, had dry skin on his ears and his fur was horrendous. I couldnt leave him there to be adopted by kids who would maul him so bought him home. Vespa on day 1: butter wouldnt melt..... Vespa 3 months later: blossomed into the naughtiest chin in the world... aargghh, devil chin: The boys together, they are being introduced and come out for a run together every night. They havent quite decided if they like each other yet but work well as an effective team of destruction against my more expensive stuff:

Aww cute little Vespa glad you saved him. That reminds me of one of my guinea pigs, he was in a cage with this huge rabbit that kept picking on him and biting him. I showed my mum and even though we weren't planning on having more piggies we bought him straight away.
And Spyro is a cutie. I love white chins. ;D

Well that day (a sunday) I had gone in for gerbil food and walked out with a chinchilla. There were lots of families and children milling about and tapping the glass which wasnt doing anything to help the terrified little critter. And also as he was in the adoption section he was an awful lot cheaper than their normal priced chinchilla "stock" so I thought that one of the kids would end up taking him home thinking he would be a cute cuddly little thing and then they would find out pretty quickly that chins are not generally cuddly! So I walked out having hammered the credit card again but feeling like i did him a good deed! He has repaid me daily by destroying all my belongings and keeping the credit card ticking over nicely in replacements!

Too bad a serious "time out!" wouldn't work with Vespa. LOL! He just looks so sweet, it's hard to imagine that devilish streak. Well . . . until you see the "devil chin" photo that is. LOL!!! They are both truly adorable. Spyro looks like he's got fur you could get lost in. Does he like to have a cuddle?

Spyro is ok to cuddle once you get hold of him, he will sit still for a few seconds! He lately has started to bounce over to the side of the cage whenever I go to see him and loves a scratch under his chin. His fur is beautiful, really big and dense, poor little Vespa looks a bit raggedy next to him!!

They are cute together, now that they finally ARE together!!
Spyro came to me called Bludger but that seemed a really blunt name for such a beautiful little creature. Vespa does look a bit manky next to him, bless him poor scrawny little thing!
I think it is a case of beauty and the beast with Spyro being a gorgeous huge bouncy snowball and Vespa being a bit of a weird looking, tiny, (albeit adorable) runt! Think he may have had a hard start in life til I got hold of him!
