They're stunning!! What color do their eyes shine? I love chinchilla eyes. They are just like little living jewels.

These two are beautiful. I should also avoid this chinchilla section as it makes me want some as well Lack of time, money or space at moment prevents me however

DegutasticJen, Did you end up keeping your friend's chins? They are so adorable to look at but such stubborn destructive little furballs!! I dont think that people realise what gorgeous little nightmares they are!!!!!! But they get away with it by looking so cute, you cant stay angry for long

No I didnt unfortunately :-(, I loved them to bits though I really did, I had them for a very short time but I quickly built a good bond with them. I would have kept them but currently I have 4 degu cages in my house and 3 dogs. I am in the process of doing introductions with my degus so eventualy I will have just two wooden cages. So once thats all sorted I think I will get some. We made sure their new home is suitable, I vetted it with my friend, and regularly keep in touch.
It did break my heart though seeing them go.

awww, chinchillas are so cute. i was in pets at home the other day and i saw a chinchilla in a cage alone, it was scared and hiding behind its nest box. i really wanted to buy it but my mum would have probably disowned me then as i have a thing for bringing pets home!
