question about avatar piccies

hi,

Can someone explain to me how to get a piccie up for my avatar?...

I have been trying and trying but to no success....can get pics up on the general forum but not one for my avatar...im a slight(huge) technoidiot...be warned and make it simple!

Click Profile -
click Modify profile
[glow=red,2,300]go down to Avatar URL[/glow] add URL of pic (right click,properties copy and paste URL)
avatar width/height 100 x 100


Account preferences::
Show Avatars--------- yes

hey amber remember to get the url the pic needs to be on a web site. like my space, facebook or the pic section of this site. then just right click on the pic on the site click properties then copy/paste the url as jack describes above.
p.s. if you want the photo shape rather than a square set size to 100 x 75.
