Ok I have noticed while Georgie sleeps she dribbles loads down her chin. I have checked her teethh what seem to be fine. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.
My main concern is that it is leaving a bald patch near her chin. She is a old chinchilla i really have no idea on her exact age .
Thanks

Id be concerned that her molars that u cant see may be overgrown - they only way to see them is to have her knocked out at the vet normally, in saying that i was only just speakign to sum1 who said the same thing was happening to her chin n she put sum probiotics in her water n that helped. but i dotn know where u get these probiotics?

yeah same most nights ;D .
On Friday I think it was I noticed Georgie had a lump on the side of her face, its took me up until today to get registered and make an appointment. So I took her down this morning and her teeth are similar to malocclusion but instead they are growing outwards, rather than inwards. She is at the vets now I have to call back at 3pm unless they call me before.
Fingers crossed she doing ok.
