This is meant as a visual guide for those who are new to having chinchilla kits.

The green one illustrates what would be preferred for the first 3 days in terms of gaining weight. If they gain more than the illustration, that's fine too.
The red one illustrates what should not happen for the first 3 days.

Yes. The red one would indicate something needs to be done.
It would be a good ting starting supplementary feeding and if the kit can't figure out how it works or it doesn't gain weight, a trip to the vet would be next step
