Hello, last time I was here it was with good news about two new babies joining my family. I have 4 goos currently, Honey and Peanut (1 year old), Coco (3 year old), and Cinnamon (8 year old). Coco and Cinnamon live together because the younger two truly hate Cinnamon, but Coco and them get along great.
Cinnamon has always been a very big girl, she usually weighs in around 290 grams. But, recently I’ve noticed she looks skinny. She just keeps looking skinnier and skinnier. But, the thing is, she eats and eats! She loves treats still and is always first to the bowl when she hears me getting out the food. I just recently weighed her and she is 144 grams. I’m absolutely scared!
Cinnamon has always been my sweet girl and is very clingy ever since her sister passed away (3 years ago from a parasite that she was born with). Lately, Cinnamon has seemed to want nothing more then to sit on my shoulder. She eats fine, drinks fine, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen her lazy bum run on a wheel until the past year. She is still as active as the others but the losing weight just worries me so much.
I truly don’t want to lose my baby, I’ve had her ever since she was 2 weeks old but I think it would bring my mind to peace knowing it was from old age or something natural rather than a illness like her sister’s. Please, if you know anything such as symptoms they start showing before death, or any type of illness she might have, let me know.
With love, and have a great day/night.

Weight usually just gradually reduces a little as they age, perhaps by 10 or 20% over multiple years. Cinnamon must have something affecting her severely to have lost half her body weight, I would get her to the vet right away.

I'll third it, with such a dramatic weight loss there has to be a medical reason. You say she's eating loads, but is she swallowing or dropping most of it?

My doctor closet hasn’t been good in the past and has given us false information and with work I wasn’t able to bring her to a further one in the past couple days. I’ve been monitoring her and giving her extra food.
She has been swallowing and pooping just the same, like normal. She’s been eating all her food and I weighed her about 4 hours ago before work. She’s back up to 180 grams. She looks well and I’m still monitoring her eating until hopefully I can get her at a constant weight.
I’ll still be bringing her to a vet, a more trustworthy one that will actually help soon. Just for a check up on teeth and such.
