Hi All,
Sorry its been awhile, life gets busy !
I thought I should set up a blog to charter the explorations of the girls moving onto the canals in the UK, with their hoomans .. not on their own. Would love to meet any other water families, we are already planning for the possible calamities if they escape.
I will upload photos ASAP but we are being craned in next month and the girls (Mumma, Gabby and Alti) will be moving on as soon as I am confident not to crash and sink us all.
Take care K XXX

Oooooh! Is it a narrow boat, or have you converted a barge?

How exciting! My parents live on a narrow boat although they don't cruise any more. I bet you've been busy getting rid of a lot of stuff!

It's also a little worrying - degus with mass transport will aid the PWD!

I can vividly remember helping my mum go through all her baking dishes to figure out what she should keep.

I totally understand that, Klbishop!! I have books on my shelves that I haven't read in years, but I would find it so painful to let them go. I did just give about 50 books to a second hand store . . . but they were mostly childrens books that my kids are well past . . . those didn't hurt quite as much. My husband was almost ready to do cartwheels round the house to see some books LEAVE. He ISN'T a reader. LOL!

Not the books!
Do you have a friend or family member with a large loft that could take a couple of boxes of things like books?

If you can bring them with you to the Thames, I can store a couple of boxes - I have one section of the attic used as storage for others, and it's half full atm.
