Anyway to cool the Degus.. it’s boiling here, I’ve got a fan but I don’t know if I can point it on them or if it will do anything. Honestly Having the windows open makes it hotter.any advice they look soo rough from the heat but relaxing.

Try putting a ceramic tile in the freezer for a while.
Take it out when its nice and cold, wrap it in a towel or something soft, then put it in the bottom part of their cage. If they need to cool down, they'll lay on it.

You could also put a bowl of ice cubes on top of the cage, outside it, so that the coolness from the ice would fall down into the cage. Might find them hanging out right under it. If you've got a tin you could put a sealed plastic bag of ice cubes in it and in the cage, I'd put it on a level or shelf over where they like to sleep, again, so as the cooler air from it falls, it cools them down below. A heavy covered glass casserole or bowl would do, too.

Depending on how much you want goo evils, you can use a water mist spray on them, which mimics the sweat that we use to cool ourselves.
Keeping your place cool needs you to start early. In the early morning, whilst the air temperature is still cool, close all your windows and blinds/curtains. You need to block out the sun. There's no point opening windows if the air temperature is warmer out than in. If you have rooms that get particularly hot (perhaps they get the sun all day?), keep the door to those rooms closed if possible. Warm air rises, so stay downstairs!

Close curtains in the day in as many rooms facing the sun as possible. Open windows later in the evening and overnight once the air outside is cooler than in.
