So on Wednesday hazel had to be put under because I noticed she wasn’t her touching her treats, the vet rang and explained how bad her teeth had got,she hasn’t been eating much just hit and bobbing only really touching nets she’s just quiet . To be honest I don’t think it will be long till I have to make the choice. The question is I’m completely unsure what to do. Please should anyone give me advice I was thinking about betting some cc for her? It’s killer me leaving her this morning to go to work tbh

Do you have Metacam to give her for pain? Do you have Critical Care food? Have you been crushing up any nuts and seeds for her to give her higher caloric foods to help her with recovery? Do you see her drinking?
The first three things are things that will help her along. If they didn't give you Metacam, and if you don't have any on hand already, then I think you need to ask for so asap. She needs help with the pain, and to control the inflammation that may result from the dental treatment.
She needs to be drinking water. Is she pooping and peeing at all?

No they didn’t give me any I was gonna ring the vet today and ask for some cc and painkillers etc. I’ve ran out of hazelnuts so I need to pick some up. She usually recovers quite quick but it’s slower this time , just laying around I seen her drinking the day she got home.

Her being more active on the first day would probably be from any lingering effects of Metacam or other meds they would have given her during the surgery. By now all the lingering effects have dissipated and she'll be in a lot of mouth pain and will be unwilling to eat or drink, especially since it sounds like the operation was a large one. This can be very dangerous to a degu.
You'll need to act fast, degus are small animals that cannot go without water or food for extended periods of time. Get CC or whatever is possible and do your best to see that she's fed and hydrated. Metacam would help immensely too. In any case, the most crucial thing is that you must get her to eat and drink at least something. Hindgut fermenters (such as degus) need to have a steady flow of food into their gut or otherwise the situation may become life-threatening very quickly.

Also, was she actually operated on or simply put under for inspection?

Definitely get some Critical Care and ask vet for metacam and try to tempt her to eat as best you can.
If this is your regular vet who knows Hazel and her dental issues well, then I think you should certainly take the vets comments on board. You could also check your records to see if her trims have got closer together. Ulitmately, only you can decide when her quality of life isn't good enough to put her through the trims.

Feed her as much as she wants once mine started eating off the syringe they would eat for ages I would just give it until it was gone the more the better it helps a lot I found that when I gave her pain relief a hour after that she would want to eat it the pain relief really helps and the little bit of peanut butter mixed in works well

I'm the same about Dixie, I keep calling Reggie with the wrong name. I miss that handsome grumpy boy.
Glad to hear Hazels doing better. Feed her as much as she wants as often as she wants, she'll let you know when she's full.

Ditto to everything!
My heart goes out to each of you, and there are several in our forum whom have known painful losses in their homes and families recently. Sending you all love and big hugs, would really like to give them in person.
