Wooooooo for clean bills of health!!!
Sorry you're having such a rough time, hopefully you feel better soon! It sounds like allergies are awful right now.

Thanks. As long as I know it's not an actual emergency, I can take it Pulla also recovered well from the visit. They had to sedate him lightly to examine him, but he was back to normal and eating by the time we got home.

Such great news for both of you!
At least Pulla won't be able to hide it when he's over indulged.

I am so happy and relieved for you both!! WOO HOO!!! I am quite delighted to be able to enjoy a chuckle that it was Pulla's stomach you were ever so gently palpating. I can't imagine that felt very . . . comfortable . . . when it was so full. LOL! I'm imagining having eaten a multi course Christmas dinner, and then having someone prod deeply while my stomach is still full. Projectile is a word that comes to mind.
Did you happen to ask about his unusual posture and gait? Any signs of arthritis or anything?

Luckily I did not prod him too hard at any point. Not that he'd let me, Pulla absolutely isn't the kind of degu who just lets you handle him however you want I did mention his weird gait there, but they hadn't noticed it (since he was just huddled in his cage and sedated afterwards) and I only brought it up afterwards (while he was still waking up from the sedation). So there wasn't really a chance to look into it. They said I'd really have to get a separate appointment for that. I might do that a bit later on during the summer.
