As long as it's grumpy squeaks, mounting, and boxing, that's fine. You might see it a lot for the first year or so as they go through their "teenage" years. I've got two brothers who have a kickboxing fight every night, but it's really only a workout, not malicious.

Yes, but it's their way of remaining unpredictable. That's how they plan to take over the world!

She will come back, I think . . . just keep loving her as you are . . . you are already winning her heart.

Mine are trained to go to bed (in the cage) when I tell them. On the rare occasion of an escape or catching for a trip to the vet, I use a cardboard tube. I occasionally have to place my arm through the tube with a sunflower or pumpkin seed as encouragement. You could also try to lure them into the carry cage.

Every evening, I allow my goos free-range in the room where their cage is. With the oldies, they only like to be out of the cage for a couple of hours, so I just shut the cage when they go in. Occasionally, I have to get a straggler in, so I tap on the door, which has become their "come here" signal when I usually give them something. They used to come out of curiosity, but now it's habit.
With the delinquents, I stand next to their ramp, tap it, and say "bedtime". It works now. Before, I would have to use tubes, or lure them in with sunflower seeds. They gradually learned that it was better to go in when asked, than risk me coming after them with a tube or pick them up.
