The only one of mine that really bites is Spidey, and it's usually a puncture on the end of my toe telling me to sit down. As a general rule, he doesn't mean to break skin, he just doesn't know his own strength. Perhaps they're trying to groom, but don't realise how thin hooman skin is? Or perhaps the bossy ladies are just showing who's in charge

Totally agree on the Versele Laga if it's not one of the grass based ones.
Have you tried making a degu style 'yip' in pain or any sort of obvious pain noise when they bite and then shout/ say firmly 'No!' and then ignore and/or withold treats for a few minutes.

After a week they all gain about 10 to 15 grams except for one, Iris went from 218 to 211, all others are above 230 anyway so I guess Iris is the weakest one. They doing pretty well, eating very good even the hay. Had their first bathroom running session and had fun.
I have a question about dandelion roots, how to feed them, as a treat or just in the normal food?

They are usually very well liked so can be useful as treats, I always reserved for treats.

Each of mine get a piece during free running every evening. It's good for gnawing teeth and gut health!
