Our degus are pets at the public library. We can only order from Amazon Prime - for various reasons - and it appears that they have taken our food off the list. I've read a lot of the threads here already and it doesn't seem like the food I can get will be appropriate for out little ones because they are all bound together with cane molasses. Can anyone help me figure out what food is best that I CAN get Prime? I'm leaning towards Fresh From the Wild Chinchilla and taking out the rosehips. But that isn't ideal since several of us are feeding them on different days and some of us are more careful than others.

I must admit I feed 100% natural but, looking at what's available on Prime, you have a couple of options. Many members here feed the Science Select degu nuggets, and Rosewood Naturals have a grain free pellet (meadow menu?). As a treat, I can definitely recommend the Rosewood snap and share vegetable bars - mine are mad for them! JR Farms will also be good! How do the goos like the library? Are they on their final warning yet for being too noisy?

Are you in America? I'm on my tablet at the moment and struggle to do links on it but if you can find the USA foods thread and the commercial food chart you should find some relevant info there. Sunseed and Living World Guinea Pig spring to mind as decent USA choices. I'll check back tomorrow on my laptop.
