There's been a post go up on Forever Friends in Maryport (Cumbria) where I got Derek from about some possibly pregnant female degus coming in. They also rehome in parts of Scotland and have rehomed to the North East of England in the past. If anyone is interested then I'd contact their rescue page on facebook.

Seriously, I'd need a third cage if I took on another degu and with an imminent house move (see 'how was your day thread') I couldn't do it yet.
