Another loner here! I can go days or even weeks not leaving the house, not seeing another living human being and only talking to the furry gang.

Yeah, I’m much the same, I can easily go without human interaction and be quite happy with it. In fact, I won’t lie, but often I find my kids very overwhelming. Too much noise, too many different types of noise at the same time. I find that to be quite enough human interaction thanyouverymuch.
I’ve gottem the hutch split into 2 equal layers now. Honey and Mia are thrilled with the extra space and Im happy watching them jump and run about. I had hoped they’d be reunified with their siblings but that’s just not what happened. Roo is gutted though. She’s hanging out at the top of the ramp (which I left for more climbing and hiding space) - she knows they’re up there and keeps going to sniff and hang out up there. She can’t see them though, a board with a brick on top makes a pretty degu- proof (fingers crossed) obstacle. Their shavings have been mixed as well.
