Does he have any favorite nuts? Almonds, pecans, brazilnuts, peanuts?

I actually hardly ever give nuts. I used to do hazelnuts in the shell, but they can be challenging to find except around Christmas.
Sunflower seeds and the seed mix I make up is the closest thing.

Update! It was a no on the baby foods and applesauce. I'll probably try again in a bit though since he was a bit distracted with destroying the play area toys, haha. His weight increased a bit though

I was thinking that if you were to try offering a bit of those different nuts and see if he loves one in particular . . . you could try offering the meds on one of them. The extra calories wouldn't be an issue for a while.

Little bit of weight gain again today!
Apple crocks arrived today! They're a huge hit with Pickett. He wasn't happy that I put nasty antibiotics on them, but he ate it!
I put the full 0.1 mL on a half crock. Thoughts on whether I can do this twice a day? That'd mean a full crock/day for another 3 weeks. I can see if I can cut them into quarters instead. Or maybe only use them once a day, keep trying other methods/syringe feeding meds?

Ordinarily I think I would say go ahead with the Crocks, but with your guys having other issues I think I'd be a bit wary of a full crock a day. You could try it if you think you would spot if he is having sugar issues? The other thing is if you do the same thing every day he might get fed up with it quicker anyway. Can you get hold of the herb crocks, I think they have less sugar?

Yeah, I'm afraid its too much sugar. I've checked everywhere and every US/CA based store that sells crocks is out of the herb version. I've also checked internationally and was only able to find one place that would ship to me. For 7 packs they wanted 70 USD + 44 USD for shipping...

Burrito Pickett is SERIOUSLY CUTE!!! Is he as . . . laid back and accommodating . . . as he looks in the photo?

He really is, thanks DC Sometimes! He sort of goes still in the burrito until I try to get the meds into him. And then he goes into towel-destruction mode! He's generally very polite and gives very soft warning bites, but he's nipped me once since the meds start. I also have a feeling that he had a lot of pent up anger from the vet visit last weekend, he was destructo goo for a few days afterward! He happily are the 1/4 apple crock + antibiotics today, so thats good!

I feel awful. I stepped on Pickett. He seems ok and is currently acting normally in the play area (i.e. twanging the bars). I think it was more of a firm smoosh than an actual step, almost like throwing a weighted blanket over yourself. He didn't make any noise when it happened, nor did he when I examined him. He's eaten too.
I know its happened to a lot of goo owners but I still feel bad. Just hoping he continues to be alright.

Thanks DC He's drinking water now, so no visible signs of injuries yet. In good news, he's still taking his meds like a champ (adores the quarter of an apple crock he gets with them). A bit worried about the sugar intake, but its only a half crock a day. And I know CC and baby food also have sugar. At least I'm not having to fight him to take the meds!

Can you get Science Selective Recovery food in the states? It doesn't have any molasses in it.
Edit: I'm sure he'll forgive you. They are so fast when they're running about it hard to avoid accidents.

I'm so glad to hear he is showing no signs AND he is taking his meds! What a blessing it is to have found something he loves so much he doesn't even notice the meds!!

Do you mean the one that is a liquid? I found it on Amazon, would be here early next week. Pickett doesn't seem to care for liquids, but I can try it! Thanks DC And for sure! I like not having to fight him daily!

Thanks for the link! Looks like it's only sold as a liquid here? And actually unavailable currently. I think I actually have something similar (from Ollie), I'll check when Pickett moves

I think it says liquid because you're not supposed to feed it as a powder. All my packets say 'liquid feed' but they are definitely a dry powder.
It mixes really well and you don't need much water so add the water slowly.
