That is amazing, lifts your heart when you see how much care and love people put into their animals. Very lucky rats!

I saw a tv show that did that with ferret tubes Winic. They had a custom made hutch in each room & pipes all round the top of the walls to access them. Looked awesome, however I think ferret poop is like cat poop so I did wonder if the tunnels would be hard to keep clean. They'd have to be litter trained pretty well for that. You would have needed ladders to get up to clean them too as they were set up so high, almost to the ceiling. Think the rat set up would be easier, it's amazing. Good find Em

Long ago, my father and most of the men in the neighborhood were into model trains. Some of them at an insane level, they had complete detailed set ups taking up the entire basement or rooms of their houses, with everything right down to actual tiny bricks and pebbles making up the walkways around the tiny detailed scale buildings and houses on the sculpted landscapes.
One guy cut holes through his walls, built tunnels through them, and has his railway system running throughout his entire house, room to room to room. Problem was, the controls were located at the main set up in one room. So if you drove your train off through the tunnels into the other rooms, and it didn't come back, you had to walk through the entire house to find out where it had come off the rails.
