Don't think I've ever made a thread like this. You are welcome to chip in if you know degus can have it (I haven't found anything degus could have but chinchillas couldn't, or the other way around)
Beebalm (Monarda) <-- safe for human consumption. Can't find any info on them vs chinchillas.

Oh, and as far as I can see Marigold is a Tagetes species... all tagetes seems to be edible, do any of you know if this is true?

marigold means different things in different places, usually it means either calendula or tagetes and both are safe.
