Leia is the image of her mum 😍 Leia and River look very similar, except River is older so has more white roots to his fur. SB surprised me today, it’s been a while since I’ve managed to have hold of both at the same time and I’ve realised I can actually now tell them apart by appearance, rather than just behaviour! (SB still panics at everything, so you open the cage door and *zoom*. Thus, you know that you have Leia and River in front of you, and I just know which is River because he’s my oldest, bestest goo ever. Don’t tell the others!)

A male friend once told me that when his wife asked him to do the ironing he deliberately scorched her favorite blouse so he wouldn't be asked again.

Hi everyone. Really unsure what to do. The end of brains tail is showing bone, and his teeth have separated. But he himself is in good spirits still eating/ drinking normally and running around his cage as if he is still a young pup (probably more ) I'm worried if I take him the vets they will want to remove part of tail and try and sort his teeth out under anesthetic which at his grand Old age will kill him. Feel really torn over this dont want him to suffer but while he's showing no signs of discomfort unsure

Do you think it is bone showing or is it dry skin?

This looks like a degloving to me. He should be able to take care of it himself, or his cage mates will help him with it. It looks nice and clean which is good, but please keep an eye on it.
I'm not sure what to suggest about his teeth, but I'm sure others will be able to help.
As always, if in doubt, see a vet, but please let us know how you get on.

Its been like this for around a week now. Exactly the same thought he might nibble it off or sweeps but no change. So I'll give the vets a call thanks x

Well just a had a battle with receptionist on the phone to our usual vets to try an find brain on the system. In the end she said she would speak to the nurse Craig so I had a light bulb moment of saying tell him its the couple who like and make video games 🤣 Either way they calling me back and I won't be able to get an appointment until 6th jan when they are back in practice

He has an appointment for 5.40pm today with a normal vet to be referred back to rutland House. When we changed our lizard Larry over from us to my friend they accidentally wiped our information from the system easily done I suppose. Will keep you all informed how he gets on

They aren't concerned about his tail as its not causing him any grief but he's booked in Thursday for teeth burring while he's awake. Vet said he's perfect weight and in excellent shape for his age

What a star!
Don't worry if his tail takes a while for him to sort. It took Scaredy nearly a month!
Thursday is dental day! That's when Spidey's having his done!
