Hello, New to the forum but kept chinchillas for 15 years. I am so experienced with rabbits, having quite a few. But although a long time chinchilla keeper my chinchillas have been pretty healthy. Two have never needed a vet so I may need advise from time to time. Any rabbit questions Im sure I can help.
I have three chinchillas Nibby is a standard beige and is 17, Pika is a standard grey and is 11 and finally Ozzy is a black velvet and is 10.
I lost Nibby’s sister Charlie about a month ago. She was 17 and passed in her sleep. She was the perfect condition one (health wise) and I thought she would go on forever.
I am also massively into rabbits, they are so amazingly loving. I currently have nine of them and if money allowed I’m sure I would have more. As well as my chins and buns I have a short tailed opossum, tropical fish and our gorgeous gentle cat.
Yes they keep me busy but I love them all. Life would be so boring without animals. X
