Sick of feeling like you're walking on the set of baywatch when your degus have a digging fit? Can't stand the way it gets right down into the carpet/cracks in the laminate or wood flooring? Then this could fix all your sandbath pet hates in one go: www.manorpethousing.co.uk/dust-bathTotally getting my dad to make a couple for both of us

There would be greater control over the sand if you have holes through complete inner walls than you will have with the partial walls. That might not be a big deal though. Having two entrances/exits will be fun for the degus and chins alike. The feeling of adventure, walking through "tunnels" as it were, and then the reward of the sand bath in the middle will be a real pleasure for both animals!!

And plus they don’t like being in things with one exit

Emzie's sketch though ^^ I think two entrances is better, you could put one in the top if you wanted to keep the footprint smaller, also you could make the inner wall L shaped to keep the sand in the inside better.

We talked about the second entrance being a hole at the top but Em pointed out that my old dears will need OAP access at some point 😂

The ones Rob made for ours are really popular with the goos. We were going to have perspex on the front, but they love just sitting inside leaning on the "window sill" watching the world go by, so we are going to leave them be. They also like the fact it has two entrances. The girls always stuff theirs with their acquired "treasures" mind, to the point it is unusable as a sandbath... And Boo always sits in hers to eat a treat in peace which is cute.

Nice! Is it removable? How do you clean it out and get the sand in

No its attached with mending plates (so the perspex could go easily on top). It has a removable base made of correx, so I just put a bowl underneath, remove the base so the sand falls out, give it a quick wipe down then replace the base and refill using a jug.
