Hi there,
I have recently lost Sandy's sister and she is now on her own. I am keen to find her another home so that she can have some company. It has only been a few days and is already really quiet without their constant chattering. I am based near Croydon, Surrey and am happy to travel so that she can have a companion again.
I have tried to post a picture but it seems as though they are too big.
I have also placed an ad on the facebook group LITTLEBITES LUTON Degu/small pet Sanctuary NON-PROFIT H.M.R.C. Registered.
Thank you x

melliemoo host the photo on another site like Dropbox, or even Facebook, then post the link on here. If you go to the "full reply", instead of quick reply, you can use the photo button at the top to post the link, and the photo itself will show. Good luck with Sandy!

Aww it sounds like the scenario with my two lovebirds! An older female and a male 2 years younger

Introduction was so easy too... Toby was just scared of Boo at first and kept running away from her. She just let him approach her and then it was love at first sight

Aww I was emotional too when I got mine together! Especially knowing Boo had been alone for years and years, and then seeing her have her first cuddle! They have never fought, sometimes they will tell each other off but nothing physical just squeaks or growls over trivial things. Toby looks after her too in his own special way, he knows to give her space as she is an old dear when he is darting about, but still gives her cuddles when she needs them. He was fab when she was ill, I don't think she would have pulled through without him.

It was great the first night we left them in the cage together, they both disappeared into the nest and in the morning were still in there all loved up, I was so so happy for Boo! Looking at them now you would have thought they had always been together. Toby is a very submissive goo, with Boo it is hard to tell, but I would guess that she was alpha in her time due to her issues with the girls. Interestingly there is no real heirachy between them, rather different 'roles', if that makes sense. Not sure if that is normal though in opposite sex pairs.
