That's my boys enjoying their hammock. Surprised they've never fallen out of it. Especially the way they hang off the edge. They're Kosh, Gkar, Vir and Londo. They were 2 years old when I adopted them, so should be 3 now. Not the tamest bunch, Vir has drawn blood a handful of times. Kosh and Londo are starting to appreciate a little stroke now and again. G'kar is still doing the "ewww! You're touching me!" thing.

Oh they are gorgeous! And they look so mischievous too.
Some degus never really get hand tame and hate to be handled. I don't handle mine as Dixie, my five and a half year old doesn't like it and Bumblebee, my three year old is still so skittish he won't let me anywhere near him, lol.

Sometimes wish I could shrink myself so I can slip into the degu bundle. Always looks so warm and snuggley!
Mischievous doesn't even begin to describe them. Have had mass brake outs at feeding time and as that's before I go to work it's not entirely a welcome occurrence. Now changed the eating routine to reduce this threat.

They've gone off their hammock in favor of the giant wood bridge in the bottom of the cage. Not ideal for taking pictures of them. It is funny watching them frantically collecting the straw from around the cage or watching a kitchen roll tube twitching around as it's shredded!
