How does Poppy react if you tell her off? sounds like she is getting a bit big for her boots. I think it's cute that Cal sent you a pic of Pickle

She tries to bite if Cal tells her off. She gets really pissy. Will screech at him. If I do it she's petrified for a second then isn't fazed at all, if I tell her off after that, she totally ignores me and my telling off. Cal has also offered to buy Pickle and a potential new friend an aventura.... I think he might be dying? ? Is this is final gesture to me? ?? Last night he told me to go tell Pickle goodnight and to tell her to go to sleep because he was busy, and he closed the blind for her too. I went to tell her goodnight and I couldn't see her, then she poked her head out of her bed like "I was sleeping!!!! Jeesh goodnight". He also goes over and strokes her a lot because she's lonely lol. He's being nice to them I'm worried lol. I've filled in the questionnaire for Notts. My parents think I'm a hoarder lol. I'd only ever have 1 more as a friend for Pickle. That's it. I don't want anymore lol. I love my babies but 6 is more than enough. 😱 It has escalated a little bit. But I'm happy knowing they're all cared for, all happy with company and more than enough room each! With a great diet and nice toys. So that makes me feel less hoarder-ish lol.

Poor Cal, he's succumbing to the degus. Resistance is futile.
Are deliveries going to be more feasible in your new place? .....So you never have to set foot in PAH again and risk more unexpected degus?

Ummmm...
...
...
No more "unexpected degus" but I have found Pickle a friend.... 😳
Please don't kill me 😂. That's it now. No more. Wouldn't want any more. No more drama and hassle and unhappy goos. 3 pairs. That's fine by me.
We are going to order an Aventura, cal won £120 on a free bet!
But yes. No more going to pets at home. No more getting sad looking degus. Deliveries are much better.
My parents would also disown me. So definitely no more. My house is full. My budget is full. My degus will be happy. I can't have any more axolotls either. So that's it!!!!!!

So glad Cal has been infected with degu fever.
could it also be that now having the degus does not mean you could lose your home, so he's able to relax and like them?

winic1 maybe! Who knows. Not general degu fever, specifically Pickle and Pinky and Perky fever, but more so Pickle lol! He's actually looking forward to getting her a friend because she's outwardly displaying sadness and he can see it and he feels so bad lol. Even offering to spend his winnings on an Aventura... he has caught the sickness lol.

Yeah! It begins with P and it's adorable so yeah gonna stick with it. Explained my situation to Notts and filled out all the forms, sent 10100101 photos and she's really happy with what he'll be coming to. Gonna keep him in one of the lazybones for now, then after he's settled I'll put him in another Aventura with Pickle He's neutered. Had an abscess but it's healed and scarred over so he's fine. About 1-2 years old. Adorable. She's dropping him down on Friday around 7 as she's seeing a friend in Birmingham so. Not that that's especially close but it's in the right direction! I don't know how much to donate.. 🤔 do I do as much as I can afford? It's £10 as a suggested donation, but that feels like nothing but then I've gotta kit out another Aventura so.. I don't know I don't wanna seem stingy lol 😢😢😢

His name is gorgeous. I adopted Lula and Joey and paid £10 each time, not alot I know but then having to kit them out it all adds up. I think the fact that you are rehoming him is what its all about really and you can only afford what you can afford!

It would be nice to donate a bit more to cover her travel costs and bringing him to you at least, maybe you could put off the new cage until next month, or maybe you could pay the minimum and make a better donation next month? I hate things like that, it can be embarassing, I'm sure the main thing is that you are giving him a good home.

I would give the 10 now, or 15 or 20 if you can, and then in the future when you can, send them some more.
Do you bake? Make her some cookies for her travels, or a couple cans of soda or bottles of water/other drink to offer, again, it's not much but it's a personal touch of thanks.
Another option for the future, when your budget allows, is to order and ship directly to them some basic supplies that they will need, like a big bag of good hay or some forage.

goolover yeah that's how I feel. moletteuk so embarrassing isn't it!!! winic1 I can bake, I'll bake some cupcakes or some biscuits, they always look ugly as heck but they taste good so 😂. I baked some heart shaped ones last night (biscuits) they look like blobs drowned in pink icing but they taste lush lol. I might pay £10 on the day, then make a food/hay or toy donation next month? Or a £15 food one and a few toys? Or shall I just do like a £20 food one with good food?

There's stuff on their Amazon wish list, no forage though..
I could order them a 10kg of hay and a few bags of Science Selective?

My rescuer also makes it happen on donations. It seems she has enough that she even shared with me. For instance she had two bags of off-brand carefresh that she wasn't going to use and she gave to me. I gave her some cash, but clearly supplies are also appreciated.
Edit: if they have an amazon wishlist that is perfect! You know exactly what they can use! Generally if they say "we'll take anything" they really do mean that. I kept saying "it's not much" to give her 10$ per goo. She kept saying "you're taking 6 mouths to feed out of my house, I'm thanking you!"
