Oh how cute! If you can then I would probably separate the first litter of boys at 6 weeks just to make sure there are no more accidents. It's a slim chance but weirder things have happened with degus!

I wouldn't separate anyone from mum before 6 weeks, and preferably the female babies should stay until 8 weeks.

The 2 in right hand for the girls are from the 1st litter they are 51/2 weeks old. 🙂 Ok for the boys I'm going to separate the 2 older ones as soon as our new cage gets here, hopefully this weekend. The 3rd boy is from the 2nd litter and will only be 4 weeks so I don't want to separate him from mom quite yet. If I let them play together will it be ok to just put him in with the older ones again when he is old enough or will I have to slowly introduce because of fighting?

If at all possible, the pups should be with the adult (female) degu up to 6-7 weeks of age. This gives them lots of time to learn degu culture and behavior, which is very important for them and the success of happily living in a colony/group. The age difference isn't that great, so hopefully you will be able to integrate him easily and quickly. You may be able to just pop him in with the other boys. I do highly recommend that you keep a close eye on them though, just to be sure he isn't getting pounded or injured. Even at that age, they can do damage.

That first girl from the left looks like she's just been woken up under protest! They are truly adorable!
