What the...! If you only knew how many times I searched amazon and played with the search and the similar items feature! I think I spent at least 2 hours on it one day.
I'll add the item to my wishlist and the parent company to my internet links in case amazon doesn't have the item in stock.

Well at least this means that a second wheel is probably only about a week away for them! I already have a spare rollerblade wheel since I had to buy a two pack for the saucer. I would just need to get another bolt with nuts big enough for the rollerblade wheel.
Edit: I know it would probably change frequently, but ever thought of a DIY materials thread or sticky? Something where DIY materials and odds and ends are listed. Stuff like the shower curtain rings with a picture or where you can find an appropriate bake pan.

We have a materials guide for cage building and I quite recently improved some of the accessories info, we have an 'accessories to make and buy' sticky thread now. Let me know if you have any specific ideas on how to improve them I will try and remember to add in the cake tin link, what were the shower curtain rings?? I'm also going to pull together some of the cage building blog threads like yours and put links to those in a sticky thread. Tomorrow is TUESDAY!

I'm running out the door in a minute, but grabbed some pictures: Shower curtain rings. They were recommended by the rescuer and I've seen them in the pictures other people have. They come in 12 packs, mine was like 3$ for the pack, can be used to hang miscellaneous things. Also you can see an example of the screw in eye hole for attaching things to a wooden cage. Side note, I'm about 1/2 done with my travel carrier: I'm going to cover the top in hardware mesh and use some hardware parts to make latches.

Pictures to show how I made my travel carrier: I securely stapled one side of the mesh to the wood. I put on metal facing to protect the wood. I got creative when trying to figure out how to keep the mesh down but still make it so I can open it. They are made from hair ties and picture frame hangers On the front I put "gate clasps" that have a locking mechanism. Finally I dug out a purse strap I never use, added some clips and eye screws, and I now have a convenient, adjustable carrying strap. What do you guys think? I was totally improvising as I went along.

I'm supposed to be going to bed now... It is after midnight here. I pick them up at 10am. I won't have much time to spend getting them settled before I have to go to work, but my husband is going to work from home to keep an eye on them.

I really hope you will have a wonderful and refreshing sleep!! It's been so fun seeing you design and build your cage, and now tomorrow it will have furbabies in it!! Will be enjoying your adventure getting to know them all (potentially ravaged) and loving them through you. So excited for you and your husband!!

Cage looks amazing, travel box looks super, great job Isn't it a good feeling when you need something to feel confident enough to just build it?! In case they might chew the hair bands, you could move them back so only the metal hook is exposed over the mesh, tie knots in the hairbands to make them shorter. Have fun today

Hideout update! It has been 4 weeks since they moved in (wow time flies!). I wanted to show you all updated photos of how it looks and work that has been done. Let's start with the lights installation: Today I made two new wood boxes to replace their cardboard ones that were falling apart from chewing. The new boxes are approximately the same size as the old ones. Level 1: Levels 2 and 3 Level 4: Overall picture:
