I thought I would just post some of the more cute pics of my two chinchilla boys who totally rule the roost here! This is my darling Ripley shortly after we got him (clearly still a baby in this pic, he is HUGE now! Totally adoring Andy as well!) And this is one of my favourite pictures of my darling Mungo. Now he really HAS got Andy wrapped around the thumb!! he gets away with murder!

What handsome boys! I wasn't really that familiar with chins before I came to this board and saw pictures -- they are adorable!

Yes, Ripley really is that black! it is sometimes hard to see if he is asleep or awake if he is in his hammock tunnel!
And yes, Mungo's ears are often a source of amusement in our house, they do seem a little over sized even for chins!

vireo, it was Ripleys colour that made me get him! he was £100 and a visit to London from Bristol, but totally worth it! although the drive home took us about 2 and a half hours due to traffic, and he was VERY cross when we got him back!! but totally worth it! Poor little thing, was moved into a cage next to mungo when we got him home (late that night) and the following morning i came down to see all his front toes were bloody. he had obviously tried to be friendly to his neighbouring chin, and had his toes bitten for it!! But then, having said that, a week later they were moved into the same cage, and cuddled straight up! they have NEVER fought, and are the best of friends! I would get more if i had the space!!!
