Also the person who wanted the 4 males i thought I had has decided he would still like the single pup, which I am happy about. He is going to introduce him to his older male and they sound like they could be a good match!

sorry have started a new job and has been so hectic!!
so she came and picked up the 7 little girls! They seemed very nice, explained what diet they were feeding and what set up they had. They had brought a Thickets Pets at Home cage and my heart stoppped but then she explained they use it as a carrier in the back of the car for the degus, they wouldnt ever use it permanently! Was quite sad to see the little girls go, they were all so funny. So much like Mowgli, very cheeky and brave and exploring everything, I would sit in my bed and they would climb onto it and venture under the duvet and on my shoulder. But things are a lot less hectic now which is a relief. Lemmi and the male pup are living happily in one half of the cage, getting on well and sleeping snuggled up, often on the snugglesafe. Mowgli is now alone in the other half but doesnt seem too bothered and enjoying running on the wheel undisturbed by little paws reaching out for mama. In a couple of weeks the little male will go off to his new home and Lemmi will finally be able to be with Mowgli. At long last! The little male is so much like Lemmi also which is funny, very sweet and gentle and a bit timid. But he has started climbing out onto my hands to get out and wil take treats from my hand so I think he will be fine.
Hope all has been well with you all and your little nutters!

It's sad to see them go but, having seen the mischief my two pups have been up to, I can see what a relief it will be not having them around any more.

I have been in your place, dops, and it is hard to see them go, but the relief of having them off to a good home and not having to worry or do the work of them anymore is huge! I hope you get lots of happy updates on them!

Good news dops, sad for you but there's alot of work in having alot of pups around. Have a nightmare at the moment! We already have Nina and Millie on their own, then we had Lula with Joey and pups....manageable! Because our boy pup Snowy (not a pup really but still call him that) spends all day with his sisters and just sees mam and dad at night he has started to grind his teeth and look for a fight with his dad when I put him in the same room. I know why this is with territory and such. Snowy's also been weird with my partner too, trying to bite him and show dominance like batting his hand away when he touches him and grinding his teeth. He's fine with me and I wonder, as stupid as it sounds, that snowy knows he's male and sees him as competition! He's got aright attitude on him....d**n those hormones.....have turned my lovely boy into a nutter lol. Removed Joey as he has a bad leg (had this when we got him from P@H) and he is very small while Snowy is now alot bigger then dad. Might end up having 3 lots of goo's now so its not ideal. Ahh....the power of insight!

oh god Goolover that is a stress! Snowy sounds like a handful, bless him! If anything, I have the opposite problem with my little male one who is with his dad, he is super sensitive and still cries if he hears his mum. But is getting tamer, isnt afraid of me but not entirely sure. Hes a wary little boy but a softy just like his dad! They both mope after Mowgli so much, a dramatic little pair. I really hope Snowy grows out of it soon! I am sure he will, it must be a phase, especially surrounded by so many girls. yeah if only we could go back and make changes! But what can you do, and you love the little sods despite it all

So Mowgli and Lemmi are now reunited! I was intending on holding off reuniting them till the pup had gone, but I was doing meets between the two of them and then Lemmi when I would put him back with the male pup, would get all aggressive and hyper so just had to put him permanently back with Mowgli. They are very happy about it! Lots of snuggling and grooming, and then this morning when I got up they just stayed in bed and snuggled when normally they bounce up! Pup will have to be alone till he leaves next week, but will give him lots of attention.

So glad that they are back together, even though that leaves pup alone. He won't be for long!!

they are so happy to be back together, its such a joy to see! So much cuddling and playing, and even snuggling up to me as they just seem to be in a great mood all the time. Pup a bit lonely but am letting him having small meets with Mowgli (with me hovering an inch away just in case of any funny business, never for more than a minute or two) and it seems to cheer him up a lot

Hi everyone! So the last pup went off to his new home last night and things have finally settled. wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone on here who gave me so much advice and support during the whirlwind pregnancy! All the advice was excellent and was lovely to have some reassurance. Most likely down to you guys it went smoothly! So thank you again, and hopefully I won't be in this situation again!
Mowgli and Lemmi currently curled up on my feet under the duvet, very content :-)

Giant sigh of relief!! So glad you are through to the other side. Mowgli and Lemmi will be talking and remembering and thanking God that THAT is behind them now. I love the image of them snuggled on your feet under the duvet together. Talk about the best footwarmer! You did so much to get everyone there, and you did it so well. Well done, Dops! Well done!
