Here's Chico demonstrating "bad chin behavior" for everybody: chewing up my walls! (Not unique or anything, just what they do!)

Interesting, one of my chinchillas, Mungo, has never tried to be naughty like that, but his adopted brother Ripley has done a fair bit of damage where he can! Chico doesnt look like a standard grey, what is he?

Chico is a standard gray, just a very dark gray. He tends to look even darker in the wintertime (when that picture was taken).

Well, in that picture Chico looks like he's very, very sorry! He's so cute, how could you not forgive him??

Well, in that picture Chico looks like he's very, very sorry! He's so cute, how could you not forgive him?? Ssarah He waits until I'm not looking to start chewing again. He knows he's not supposed to chew the walls, so he watches for me to be looking the other way. Like a little kid... Of course, he's my baby, so it doesn't take long for me to forgive him! ;D

They're like little kids, aren't they? They other night I found a way to distract him from chewing the walls. I gave him every kid in the world's favorite toy: a box. It kept him busy the whole time. ;D
