We all run into times that chins just won't eat or they won't take their medicine in their syringe. 
We have found things that our chin loves and she easily takes her medicine and gobbles it up.
Green Bananas- Our chins I say chin(s) but we lost one so now its chin. But they both loved green bananas, bananas that still have some green on them. We cut them up into tiny squares and they eagerly eat them. They like bananas more starchy instead of ripe when they are more sugary. Our chins would not touch ripe bananas.
Black Strap Molasses- Put their medicine in the syringe and dip the tip of the syringe into the molasses the chins will eagerly eat the molasses, in fact they will grab the syringe with their teeth, and you can squirt their medicine right down their throat. This also works for water in a syringe. Molasses on the end and a few tiny squirts of water to hydrate them. But you have to be careful not to get any in their lungs so tiny squirts.
Also if the green bananas are too dry you can drizzle them with the molasses and hand feed them, they go crazy for them. When our chin had tooth shavings done we fed her this and she still demands her bananas today. She looks for her green bananas every night and then promptly goes to bed.
