Are those numbers right? You said Pip is smallest but she isn't the lightest?
My Molly weighs about 10% less than the other two but the size difference often looks more than this as Molly seems to be more streamlined than the other two.

Yeah they are right - she is definitely the smallest to look at but doesn't weigh the least. People always comment on how small she looks compared to the other two, but I s'pose as long as she is healthy and active I shouldn't be too worried?

She must be really muscular! She's a mighty mite!

I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. I think the fur comes into it a bit and perhaps how much they feel the cold, I always think the fluffed upness of the fur makes a huge difference to how big they look (there I go making up words again).

I "ness" and "ish" my words all the time. I like your words!! :-)
In fact, I think we could go one step farther and begin saying that something is "nessish" if it is "more" than any other words we can think of to describe it.

I'm always 'ishing' my words, makes them sound so much better! Thanks for the reassurance, I'll continue to keep an eye on them. Pip's colouring makes me look like a scruffy little so and so which probably isn't helping her look as big as the others - wish there was a way to measure them!

We have a degu Nutmeg who has constantly maintained weight at around the 190-200g mark, she is just smaller framed than the others and a bit more sickly, I assume she must have been the runt of a litter, this could be a similar thing.

You could try measuring from nose to base of tail, but I'm not sure how revealing it would be, I guess that is equivalent of height on a human and it's more the 'build' that seems to look different from degu to degu.
