Each post I have made has had a piece of code added to it at the bottom. I have tried deleting it using the edit button but this doesn't work. Does anyone have a clue what is causing it please?

I've just edited it out, but no idea what it is...
Might be worth posting again and seeing if it comes up again and then someone may have a solution...

I can't see anything in your profile that might cause this... can you tell me what personalisations you have made to your profile?
How is the avatar linked or uploaded? Maybe you could disable the avatar in your profile and then try making a new post.
Are you making any personalisations with each message?

Have removed my avatar to see if that makes a difference. I haven't really done much to my profile, just added my location and gave myself a signature but it happened before I did that anyway <script id="UZ_script_codeUser" type="text/javascript">var _uz_codeuser='C517S16_830';</script><script id="UZ_script_JS" type="text/javascript"></script>

Done a bit of looking about and If i go to make a post and click on BBCode the script is in there and lets me delete it out and make a normal post, however I am really confused as to why it is being added automatically in the first place

I'm confused too, I've never come across this before. Would you mind creating another account, you can use the same email, and reply again on here and we'll see if it still does it? thanks

I logged off to make another account and it said something about a global account- i know I am on another proboards forum so wondered if that was it. I logged back on to update on Ruby and the code wasn't there so I'm hoping that it is gone when I post this one too

It seems that if I use quick reply without quotes then it doesn't come up, but if i quote someone i need to go into BBCode and delete it... bizarre!

Very bizarre! Glad you figured out so much though, I would have had no idea how to proceed.

Yes, the global account links your proboards indentities. Is it completely gone if you use your Proboards ID from the other forum? You can switch IDs from the little tool bar at the bottom right of the screen.
I tried posting via a quote and no code appeared for me, so it's not a universal quote problem. I checked on Proboards support and there was no mention of it there, but I can ask there if you continue to have a problem.

I could try posting from there, see if it would let me but tbh I think it might be easier just to go with the fix I found thank you for all the help, how bizarre that it isn't on proboard support
