Hello, someone suggested to me to let my chins chew on Apple wood. However I don't have a tree I can cut some branches off. I was wondering if pet stores sold it or if I have to go hunting for a tree. I live in the UK so if anyone knows any shops they must be UK based.
Many thanks Vicky

You can buy very small bags of twigs in pets@home or sometimes on ebay. You might like to look at our safe wood list as there are lots of native broad leaved species that are safe in the UK deguworld.proboards.com/thread/15616/safe-tree-woods-bark-listYou could ask around friends or even place a wanted advert on freecyle. It's harder to identify wild trees in winter, but you may be able to spot hawthorn, silver birch, alder, beech or oak, or maybe apple from the fruit.

Versele-laga sells them here in Canada in bags of 12 small twigs. I would think that any pet store that sells Versele-laga products could order them for you.

Try Galen's Garden or Chinchillas2Shop. Both these sites sell a good range of chin safe sticks and chews.
