tonight has been an evening of causing mum heart attacks, I jumped off her shoulder and then Pablo wish judged his jump and fell onto the bottom of his cage... mum is a babbling wreck now, we want her to bog off to bed... she keeps watching us run around... unnerving really

Yes, be careful Loki and Pablo, you already cause your mum enough worry, she doesn't like the worry part you know!

so we may have turned a corner, in the past 7 days there have been 5 successful intros ranging from 10 to 40 minutes with loki and diego. Then a very brief (10 minutes) diego in looks cage. They were both so overly excited that we had to cut it short as they were running around like loons.
Maybe just maybe we may be getting to a place where i will no longer have lone goos !!!!!

so its been a while (hooman here).
Loki has had a big health issue since sunday and we are not 100% sure what has happened, The vet thinks it may be a stroke or an infection. He woke up sunday puffed up and not moving. I got him to the vets and he fought her throughout which is very characteristic of loki. It has been a fight to get his antibiotics in, he was so stressed with a steriod injection. He has slept a lot but this evening had a sedate walk around the lounge while i cleaned his house. Hes had some water and i snuck in a few oats and critical care. He is a bit more alert so we are keeping things crossed that this is not a stroke.

If he has such strong movement, I suspect it's not a stroke. I assume he's coordinated? Fingers crossed whatever it is resolves itself soon, and he's back to his usual self

How's Diego? Did they officially become a little happy cohabitating duo?

Hi guys, Loki has started to eat and drink and is much more alert. Still sleeping a lot but I am really hopeful he is on the mend. He is lapping up a mixture of critical care and rolled oats (helpful for getting his meds into him). I will keep you updated. Emziedee we lost Diego around April, really similar to bee passing. Came home from work and he was on his side puffed up and slow breathing. Straight to the Vet, their best guess was a stroke. He passed away a couple of hours later under my partners beard. We never got them together - they shared a love only with a thin fence between them. would sleep next to each other on adjacent ledges, chiruping away.
