Hahaha, you mean "this substrate has no business being spread all over the bottom of the cage, *dig, dig, kick, kick, kick right out of door!*" ? ;D Glad you are enjoying them so much, I'm enjoying your blog Apple blossom and leaves are fine.

LOL! . . . you're right, Moletteuk. It's almost like they suddenly look around and think, "Who left this MESS all over the cage floor!?? I'm going to clean this up BUT GOOD! Teach them to leave their STUFF in MY cage!!"

Haha, quite. Darn gooeys. They are SUCH trouble makers!
My OH always threatens to 'feed them to the dogs'...not that he ever would, HE thinks it's funny to threaten though...I disagree!

My mum does the same! I gave them a box to play with earlier, and they certainly do like it. They havent even chewed it yet- wich is WAY more than I can say for the apple twigs that love! they just cuddle up in there and look at me- it's quite a narrow box so I guess it mimics a burrow thingamajig. They keep trying to did in it- ill have to find them something more suitable for digging in. They always seem to be much less interested in me when I have just reorganised their cage - I must be doing something right! ;D

Well the girls are coming on nicely, and I think they are enjoying themselves! They have turned the box I gave them into a permanent house- well at least until they decide they DON'T like it any more, and shred it! For the first time they seem to be interested in strips of loo roll and kitchen roll that I put into their cage, which is nice because I can give it to them strip by strip when I pass their cage, like a nice thing they can associate me with. They are 8 weeks old today! They had a small nut to celebrate, which they loved. I MUST post some pictures!

Aww, they a tiny. Just lovely. Thanks for the pictures! I got all 4 of mine when they were mostly full grown so didn't get to enjoy the little baby stage, I have to live it through others, your pictures have helped a lot

Awwwww they look so happy, and they've grown a lot already! I had an email last week letting me know that their mum is getting on well, chatting through the bars with her new friends and almost ready to meet for the first time. Thought you'd like to know I'm really happy that you're keeping a blog, I get to catch up with them whenever I'm missing them

Well, I had a quick look in the goo cage yesterday night, and both girls were spreadeagled over their hot water bottles so comfortably, and they just looked at me like you'll have to give me LOTS more oats to get me offa this heater! But, I am really shocked at how much the girls have grown, it's like WOW! They are really beautiful, and I am learning more every day! I need to get heavier food bowls though, as the girls like to put them in their mouths and throw them, scattering food everywhere! They have had a new cereal box this morning, so all I can hear is gnawing noises and little pixie squeeks! I love how they squeek, they do sound really mischievous! ;D

LOL! I completely agree with you on all accounts. It's amazing how they can pick up a bowl and with a toss of their heads, wing everything all over the cage, isn't it? Brats! LOL! They are adorable to watch grow!

Well, it's been what seems like ages since I last posted here! I've been so busy with the goos that I have hardly had time to read any threads at all! They are growing shockingly fast, it seems like only yesterday I brought home two bewildered little babies Every time I walk into the room they follow me around the cage like shadows, and I only have to touch their cage stand to have them squeeking joyfully to be let out! They love running around in the shower, and it's the one place I can sit and be positive that they won't escape. I feel so lucky, they even groom me! If not a little vigorously at times... As and interesting feature in their cage I now have a fair sized pile of cardboard boxes with holes and tubes, which they really seem to enjoy, I suppose it imitates a burrow system. They seem to be so busy always, even if it is just relandscaping (I can never seem to stop them constantly moving this PARTICULAR box right in front of their water bottle, I move it, they go to huge amounts of trouble to put it right back!) Anyhow, I don't have time for much more right now, I just thought I'd say the girls are doing very well! More soon ;D

I just put a smarties box in their cage (no smarties left) with oats inside! It's hilarious, They just can't work out whether bashing it around of attacking it is a better option. So far both have failed! The bashing around was funny though...
