Hi, I've never used hemcore myself but have you heard of finacard? Its £13.99 for a 17kg bale. This is what I use and have found it to be really good. Its soft too!! Kat x

I second Finacard, I've been using it for over a year now and it's great. Cheap to buy, free delivery, nice and soft for the goos, keeps the cage smelling fresh and doesn't get kicked about too much either.

I like megazorb. I don't know about the hemp stuff.
My 3 girls quite like readigrass, they get a small handful every other day or so, so I feed it as an extra to the ordinary hay.

I've given mine hemp before as bedding, it's fine. However I didn't find it any cheaper, I was just lucky in being given a bag for free. Also hemp is good for the nest bedding (i.e. the soft fluffy bedding) but for general bedding to soak up wee, etc, then finacard is your best bet. Megazorb is good too. I wasn't too keen on it, but purely for personal reasons, as money-wise and efficiency megazorb is very good.
As for readigrass, I've been tempted to try that. I think though the general consensus is if it's still green then the chance of bloat increases, especially if you then give them veggies as well. What moletteuk does sounds like a good idea.
