Hi everyone, I'm looking for some ideas or just reassurance. We had a bit of a night with daisy, she began making very loud panicked noises at midnight last night. We got up and went to see what was wrong and found her running in a circle then she stopped and was just shaking. She looked terrified and she was sat in a large puddle of wee (sorry tmi!) which I assume she did in fright. Pepper was fine but daisy was freaked. I coaxed her around with lots of talking and persuaded her to have an oat and fuss. She is such a nervous little bibble! I have no idea what set her off and this isn't the first time she's done it, seemingly without reason. She then does what I call the 'judder walk' for a while after. Both girls have been treated the same since I got them (aged 4 months) and exposed to lots of noise etc, I checked her over, no physical damage. I think it could be pepper bullying but I've never caught her doing it and if there is a skirmish, daisy usually gives as good as she gets. If anyone has any advice or similar experience, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you! :-)

Thai used to do this a lot as well (minus the peeing herself... Poor Daisy) and as it only ever happened at night, I came to the conclusion it was probably bad dreams as Dega never even looked spooked and Thai would calm down after a little attention and a treat.
Have they been in the same room as a scary film before it happens during the night? Thai did it after I watched part of the Ghost Rider once (where nicolas cage is shown losing his skin / muscles / tendons etc as he turned into the flaming skeleton!) and I noticed the goos were glued to the screen while it was on! XP
Maybe its just bad dreams. Hope its nothing too serious!

Awww bless!!! My little daisy baby is having nightmares?? Jaiye no my googles don't get tv, they have a radio so no scary on there. smux they're in their own room, we can't have them in with us because of the cat. I will get them a nightlight tho, that's a good idea. They are extremely good most of the time, I can never believe how they fall into our sleeping pattern, they even lie in at weekends! She's still a bit wary, I just had them out for play. I wish I knew what she dreamt of! :-(

Had experience of this with Nugget altough his instant reaction is to bolt at top speed into the hammock at the top of the cage and stop by hitting the wall at the back...
