Hi all,
Willow loves rolling around in the dust bath, but all Buffy ever does is jump in, rub her head in the dust and jump out again (or bury food in it). She does have a noticeably more greasy coat than Willow to go with the lack of bathing. Is this normal? Could it have been caused by the previous owners ill treating her? Is she just a bit unique? Anyone know anything, or have a goo that is similar?

Tried to answer earlier but my computer is playing "how to annoy my user and make her wish she had a MAC" today. If you sprinkle a generous amount of the bathing sand over top of her, so that it is all over her (but not buried like at a beach lol) she will shake it out of her fur and it will help to clean her up. The more often you do this, the more she will start to get the idea and hopefully begin to bathe on her own in time.

That worked. I but a sprinkling on her and she went into the bath to scrub it off. Not sure that's what was intended, but it seemed to work. lol

It's official. Buffy is nuts. We took the dust bath out yesterday, and have put it in tonight and she's gone crazy in there. Maybe she was having too much of a good thing.
