omg! my mum was playing with munch, trying to get him out on her hand, and he wouldn't so she got him out on his tube! not in it ON it! then she decided that he would come on me if she gave me the tube. and the tube is slippery so munch fell/jumped off! lucky we got him back in his tube and put him in the cage I think he's ok though has anyone else had a similar experience?

Doesn't sound that dramatic, but I would suggest that in the future your mum waits until munch (and your other degu/s), decide they want to be held and come out of the cage themsleves.

It's pretty common that there are some falls/jumps/sky diving when they are still young. They seem to have a "talent" for it. If you see no sign of injury, and there is no change in behaviors, I would only suggest that you check on him just to make sure he is still doing well. If you do see any lethargy, lack of interest in water or food, you should take him to your vet. Otherwise, I would chalk it all up to an experience and what you learn from it, as well as the insanely confident thinking of kamakasi goos!
