the best thing to do to gain thier trust is to sit by the cage for an hour talking to them, perhaps with the door open and your hand just resting inside so they can come sniff you and get to know your scent as a non threat. Give them treats (suitable) and just work your way up to holding them.
The only one of mine I can hold is Gabi but she had to get used to it when we had to give her baytril a few weeks ago. The others will sniff and climb onto my hand but run away when i go to pick them up.

cheers Mj I have been doing that and they all come and climb on hands, have a nibble and take treats etc but picking them up is a different matter lol.If no babies I will be taking to vets next week and the trust issue with what they have been through is amazingly good but picking up a possible preggie goo who doesnt like being picked up will cause stress and I need advice on how to do it with the least stress

Put a box or tube or something in the cage that maybe has a treat or too in it and wait for her to go in it, then lift it out while she is in it. Might take a few tries but should work.

in that case i'd deifintely go for the tube option - get her to climb in a tube and pop her in a box with some bedding and a friend :-D ours did quite a lot of nest building before their pregnancies and toilet roll went down a treat! we poked through squares of toilet roll and they snatched it off us and put it in the nest and came back for more. i really would recommend this, as it helps absorb the blood from giving birth too. and its soft to protect the babies. and its absolutely hilarious watching them aswell! love your collection of animals, nice to meet someone who has more than me! lol.
