Oh Lordy Angel has just given birth now aswell in another nest box! As I knew they all needed their space which is why I put in more nest boxes for beds!
Anyways Angel seems to be doing well with what I can see 3 healthy lil babies but I'm leaving her alone to chill but from what I can see there's 3 blimey it's all go go go in my house lol but that's the end of the babies now! Daddy goo must have had his way just before I separated them
I'm desperate to show you all pictures, will get back on the phone to my new Internet provider to make them get a groove on lol!

OH MY!!! What a frightful discovery, and how heartbreaking! I can't think of any reason why this would happen. There was a case here on the forum, several months back, when a member with two pregnant degus had one expecting mom attack and kill all of the pups from the first of the two that delivered. I think only one out of a litter of five (?) survived. Once she had her own pups, she was great with them, but still rather aggressive toward the sole remaining pup. I haven't heard in quite some time how that all ended up.
Now that doesn't mean that is happening in your situation . . . it's just the similarity that catches my attention.

Yeah I get what your saying I think I remember Reading that story aswell and I did wonder if that was the case with me however Angel is brilliant with both set of pups indact all the girls are great with the googles ivenever seen any agression which made me think maybe that baby was I'll or something? But yeah it was horrible to find and to clean up again shed a lil tear Angels babies which she had today are huge like 3times the size of Squidges babies again makes me think Squidges babies were born too early or wether Angels babies were very late I've got some pictures to show the difference in the two litters its unbelieveable how much bigger they are and they were only born today!!!!
Oh and got some lovely pics of Fudge she is fantastic now has really pulled through well it's just great she got through all of that!

They are young, they are both a year old at the end of august do you think that could be the reason for the problems we've had? Angel is the same age as them also

Well . . . I was kind of thinking so, but if Angel is the same age, but doing so well . . . that doesn't seem to add up quite. I don't know what to think.

Thats ok Emz :-) I thought you may had forgotten lol.
They are just adorable arent they :-)
All very healthy from what I can see. Ive held off touching them even though I know at 4 days you are allowed, Ive held off because of one of the degus killing one of the degus as mentioned above. Not too sure why this happened but im being extra carefull. They are all so active, they are all running around now its lovely :-)
Thank you Kins, No, not much is getting done around here at the moment. Constantly staring at them :-)

Aww, I'm really please to hear they are all well.
Have you thought of any possible names yet? Do you know the sex of them all?
I bet you can, they are such time wasters, any baby animals are. I remember when my cat had kittens, I never wanted to leave them, same when we got Bonz when he was a puppy, hours were spent playing with him. And it's the same with Dave and Jim, I could sit and talk to them and play with them for hours, the evenings just aren't long enough!!!!
