When its normal that the babies teeth will be orange? First they are white, but in some time they should turn orange. Is it normal that 2 month old degus have white teeth? (They are eating xtravital degu food). Is there anything I should do?

Hello ! How are you ? Yes, degus are born with white teeth and it can take more than two months for them to gain the orange colour. Some degus can take many months, while others can only take a month or two. It depends on the amount of hay that they consume and how fast they are maturing. Soon, you will see their teeth become light yellow...after a few weeks they will be dark yellow and eventually orange. It takes time, so its nothing to worry about

Yeah the teeth becoming orange takes time. Just make sure they're eating a good amount of hay to go with their feed and it should be fine. I'd say if you're reaching 8-10 months+ without any colour change at all then would be more of a time to worry about their diet.
