Hi, Let us see a picture and if it's the same problem I get with my daisy I can hopefully help you. She gets sore around the area of her ureathral cone. The soreness can lead to dry looking areas. Bathe the area in a mild saline (salt water) solution and dry it afterwards, that's usually a good start. Is it more dryness or scabby as in blood? Give us as much information as you can as well, like if there has been a change of substrate for example. :-)

Ah I've tried to help you with your photos in the chat section :-) I've had a lot of trouble with my daisy's bits being sore but after two vet trips and no joy I emailed chloe at degutopia and she gave me excellent advice. A common ( but not the only cause, be aware) is that the bedding is not absorbant enough or they might be urinating on a shelf with no bedding. This can mean they're getting wet down there and it's making them sore. How old are they? mild saline is safe but make sure to dry them after. If it's not cleared in a few days they might need to see a vet and get antibiotics as it can turn into an infection. It could be overgrooming but I don't have experience with that I'm afraid.

The saline will cleanse and sanitize any dried on urine if that is the cause. Saline btw is not an acid, I believe it carries a ph of 7 which is neutral if the water is 25 degrees.
