I would also be very interested in making some of these. I might buy some so I can study them.
This is from the website
These are the main ingredients we use in our treats and the benefits they possess. Wheat bran is full to the brim with fibre, it contains vitamin B6 and lots of minerals, and it is low in fat and is sugar free! Parsley is an amazing herb it does so much that we can’t fit it all in, but here is a sample: It helps with digestion of fats and proteins, helps the liver and kidneys, contains lots of Iron, Vitamin A and C, plus much more. Dandelion is another remarkable herb, helps the liver and kidneys, soothes the stomach, contains lots of Vitamin A and C, calcium and iron and is even believed to prevent or cure cancer! Alfalfa is a rich plant full of vitamins and minerals, it helps the kidneys and liver and helps lower blood sugar levels which is great for the diabetes prone Degu. But we only put a little in, enough to get the benefits,as too much can make your little furry friend bloated. Spinach is a good source of vitamin A which helps the teeth, bones and eyesight.
These grains are all organic and were especially chosen as they contain healthy levels of fibre, fat, protein and naturally occurring sugars that are ideal for Degus and Chinchillas. Spelt is high in Fibre. Rye is low in Protein. Buckwheat is a sugar free grain, great for Degus.
Each flavour of treat contains a different flower and each one has it's own benefits. Marigold helps sooth the stomach and is an anti-inflammatory. Chamomile helps relax and is an anti-oxidant. Rose contains Vitamin C and has aromatherapy benefits too, it is believed to induce a good mood!
Any ideas people?? How can we figure out the secret receipe and method?
